Busy Busy Busy Busy

I have been so busy over the last week or so and I still don’t have a whole lot of time. I need to be up in 5 hours so I can go running so this will be really short. Been working hard with my EE lab, it has been kicking my butt lately due to the lack of time in my days. Ethics has been sapping even more time due to the reading requirements so that really sucks. Calculus has been my primary focus and I did really well on the last test, hopefully I can destroy the third test and lock myself in for a B in the class. Been busy with gomeler.com and cleaning up the kitchen, both are coming along nicely. Tomorrow i will try to send out a few emails, I’ve really been slacking. I just finished the book of Exodus, starting on Leviticans or however you spell it. Time to go, bed time at 1:24, gah.

The weekend

What a weekend it has been. There was a birthday party/fiesta of sorts on Friday which was a lot of fun. I saw a few people that I hadn't seen in a long time and I had another person recognize me as "the guy that built that computer cooler". So that is like 5 people that have talked to me in person about my website. Saturday was spent recovering from Friday and watching the Georgia Tech Baseball game. I called Saturday a quiet night and decided to sleep in on Sunday. Sunday was my busy day, I wrote a lengthy article for Gomeler.com, cleaned my room up, did all my laundry, cleaned out my fridge, and just got stuff done. Tomorrow should be another busy day as I prep the website for 9rules by adding the badge and cleaning the thing up a bit. I might be looking for a new home for Gomeler.com, a friend of mine mentioned checking out a local datacenter called A Small Orange. I really like the website and the specs on their servers seem up to par, so maybe I'll try and see if they can hook me up with some free server space in return for some advertising. Only time will tell where this goes. In more blog news by the end of the month I'll have hit 50,000 unique visitors and around 75,000 total hits. These stats only track from the beginning of April till now which is when I consider my blog became an official thing to do.

That is about it, kind of tired of writing, every time I write it sort of drains me. Be another day or so till I'm back.

The Black Macbook

So today was the day I bought a Mac. Today was also the day I put XP on aMac. It has been a very interesting day, I spent the day with my mom shopping around Atlanta, we had a lot of fun. I never knew that Ikea has such good food in their cafeteria. I got 10 swedish meatballs with mashed potatos and I was very happy with the food. Besides the Macbook I also bought some nice Oakleys that will forever be perched on my head from now on. In other news I just found out there will be a Toga party at my house tomorrow, I love how people plan stuff and forget to inform the downstairs that there is stuff going on.
I was very happy to see 5 guys helping me out last night when I was hauling around more wood though. We cleared off the entire basketball court, replaced the basketball backboard/hoop, and sweeped the entire area up. We filled an entire 35 foot x 8 foot x 6 foot dumpster with the warped wood that I decided wasn't worth keeping. I really wish the wood hadn't sat outside and warped, it was all very good wood. The rest of the wood will be saved, I think I am going to build a makeshift shelter to keep it nice and dry. That about wraps everything up, classes are going great and life is good. Oh I almost forgot, Paul purchased a White macbook at nearly the sametime that I purchased the Black one. I also got a free iPod nano, I need to figure out what I am going to do with it.

Today has been quite the day. Woke up today around 9, got ready for class and sat through an hour of boring Calculus. After Calc I stopped by my job, made sure everything was going fine, verified my bank account for my paycheck and then headed back home. I cleaned up the room a bit and then started work outside. During the Spring, Pi Kapp had built a waterslide for a party but once the party was over, the slide still stood. It took 3 weeks for people to get around to tear down the slide however nobody went about cleaning up the mess of wood and nails. So I spent about 4 hours of my day hauling wood around, arranging it by size, removing the nails and screws, and in general cleaning up the basketball court. I must have moved close to 1500-2000 pounds of wood today so I got my workout. Now time to relax a bit and plan out more crap for my blog. Didn't accomplish much today, just cleaned stuff up.

It feels very weird writing in this blog as opposed to writing at Gomeler.com. I seem to write differently when it is technical, I find it rather hard to arrange my thoughts in sentences that aren't like a stream of thought. I guess practice will help me out.

The Wonders of Raisin Bran

I love Raisin Bran. Especially when you get to the bottom of the box. Once you hit the last bowl from that bountiful box, you get a bowl chock full of sweet and tasty raisins. I love fishing through my bowl of milk and cereal to hunt down that ever elusive raisin hiding in the bottom of that little ocean of milk. Of all the healthy breakfast options that are available to me, Raisin Bran takes the cake. Just this morning I was watching an episode of Greys Anatomy and eating my Raisin Bran and I managed to spend 20 minutes fishing out every last raisin. It is a talent I tell you, similar to panning for gold or emerald mining. Raisin sifting is the way of the breakfast future.

Purpose and Reason

I finally decided to spend a little time and get this blog off the ground. Unlike www.Gomeler.com, this blog will be a soap box for me to rant and rave. The only connection to Gomeler.com will be the link on that website to here and vice versa. I don't plan on changing the theme on this website at all, none of the default themes interest me and I can't upload K2, so I will just leave it the way it is. I won't be writing here on a regular basis and I won't be offering any intellectual tidbits or reviews, so if you are looking for more of the other website, tough luck. With that said, I hope I enjoy writing here, and if you happen to enjoy what I write then that will be an unseen bonus.
